Tramontina briquettes are made from 100% pure eucalyptus sawdust. With no added chemicals, this eco-friendly product is safe for use with food and is an environmentally friendly carbon substitute. The briquettes are used all year round and are suitable for: Barbecues, Charcoal replacement, Indoor / Outdoor fireplaces and Pizza ovens. One of the advantages of briquettes is the absence of moisture, which, especially in winter, adds weight to firewood. So, although briquettes cost more than firewood, because they do not contain moisture they are 100% fuel, while firewood is often only 60%. One kilogram of briquettes corresponds to approximately 1.5 to 3 kilograms of wood.
Briquettes leave little ash and do not stain the chimney, nor do they emit a lot of smoke. For this reason, the term ecological firewood is also used. They are easy to store and transport and do not collect bugs.
