Chrome effect spray paint for decorative and art&craft purposes. Chrome effect in gold and silver colors for decorative use.
Applications
Quick dry paint for decorative purposes. Suitable for applying on metal, paper, wickerwork, ceramics and most plastic materials. An excellent result achieved when applied indoors: candelabras, vases, picture frames, etc.
Avoid handling the painted object.
Technical characteristics
- Sizes 270/200ml and 520/400ml.
- Spreading 200ml = 1 m2. 400ml = 2m2.
- Drying time in 30 minutes.
- Repainted in 1 hour.
How to apply
The surface to paint must be clean, dry and free of any contaminants.
Shake the can vigorously during 1 minute after the mixing balls sound. Spray from a distance of 25/30 cm, applying thin and quick layers, first horizontally and then vertically. It is advisable to spray two thin layers instead of one thick layer in order to obtain uniform coverage and avoid paint sagging. Once the operation is complete reverse the can and push the nozzle until only gas comes out in order to prevent nozzle clogging.
Once finished it should not be rubbed, varnished or treated with any cleaner or solvent as it will lose gloss.
Differences between chrome and decorative chrome effect
We must distinguish between the professional chrome of the merely decorative. For professional chrome plating, the object must be immersed in a temperature-controlled container with the liquid chromium so that it adheres and forms the chromed film. Nowadays it is impossible to achieve the same finish with a spray as the temperature immersion treatment. In spray only exists the chrome effect for decorative use. This chrome effect layer emulates traditional chrome objects.
