Alpirust alpina is an
anticorrosive primer of high quality for ferrous surfaces. It has very
good hiding power, adhesion ,levelling, working properties and very easy
sanding, while protect perfect ferrous surfaces.
Surface preparation application: Surfaces must be clean ,dry and free from grease and dirt and be thoroughly rubbed down using a suitable abrasive paper. After the preparation of the surface apply two coats of alpirust. Suggested application temperature conditions from 10°C up to 35°C.
Type: Alkyd based primer paint. Lead and chromates free.
Thinning: For brush and roller 10-20% v/v and for spray gum 20-30% v/v with white spirit.
Application method: Brush, roller ,spray gun.
Spreading rates: About 15m² per litre on previously prepared surfaces.
Drying times: ToucHDry after 1 hour and recoatable after 8 hours. Drying time depends on weather conditions (humidity , temperature).
After use: Clean brushes and equipment with white spirit after use.
