This Georgian Oil Paint Multi Selection Set from Daler-Rowney contains 10 tubes that hold 37ml of high quality Georgian oil colours. They can be used directly out of the tube for impasto techniques or alternatively thinned down with water to create a wash like effect similar to watercolours. This selection set is great value for money and an extremely affordable way of experiencing the beauty of oil painting but without the chemicals and solvents. The set has a great selection of colours that can be thinned, mixed and washed with water making it particularly useful indoors or for a classroom setting. All paints in this multi set have a high level of light-fastness, including quality pigments with great load and covering power.
Each of the paints inside have a viscosity and density similar to traditional oil paints which can be used for most of the same techniques, such as impasto techniques for a thick textured look or thin them with water for watercolour washes. When applied these paints will take 5 to 7 days to dry and there will be no change in colour whilst drying. Inside the set you will find a multitude of colours that include; lemon yellow, cadmium yellow hue, cadmium Red hue, alizarin crimson hue, french ultramarine, cerulean hue, viridian hue, yellow ochre, burnt umber, titanium white.
